OUR CHRISTMAS TREES

We are very proud that most of the trees we sell in the Sussex Christmas Barn are lovingly grown here on the farm.

The majority of our seedlings are sourced from Kent, making our trees among the few truly British Christmas trees available.

In 2017 we planted our first 20,000 Christmas Trees and ever since then we have been growing, tending, and nurturing them to produce the very best of British Christmas Trees for both our retail and wholesale businesses.  We have continued to plant an additional 20,000 trees each year ensuring we will always have every size and shape of tree available. In the meantime, our partnership with the Infinity Christmas Tree Group allows us to supply tall, British-grown trees until ours are ready.

Because the trees are grown on the farm, we guarantee freshness—each tree is cut just days before arriving in the barn. Every tree is carefully graded for height and quality, and pre-priced to make your selection simple.

We are committed to sustainability through our ongoing planting programme, ensuring a greener future for generations to come.

You can visit the Sussex Christmas Barn and select your perfect tree or you can place an order online.

The tree labels are colour coded for example:

  • 5ft/6ft trees have orange labels

  • 6ft/7ft trees have blue labels

  • 7/8ft trees have yellow labels

The price list displayed show the size, colour of label, variety and price.

CHOOSE YOUR TREE VARIETY

Norway Spruce – traditional Christmas Tree
Nordmann Fir – the needles are soft to the touch, excellent needle retention, very popular especially with pet owners.
Fraser Fir – Citrus scented, compact tree, ideal for small spaces.
Douglas Fir – Soft long needles, amazing smell.
Blue Spruce – Classic shape best known for its beautiful colour which varies from steel blue through to silvery-green.

SELECT YOUR TREE

Now you know the variety and size you would like to buy you can select your perfect tree.  This process is a very individual choice; Do you want bushy? Do you want slim?  Do you like the slightly quirky one?  Does it need to be symmetrical (as best it can, it is a natural product)? Are you buying two and they need to match?

Let our friendly staff know your preferences and they can show you a wide selection of trees and find your perfect tree.

GRAB THE BARCODE

Each tree has a unique number and a tear off barcode on the label for scanning at the till.  A member of staff will hand this to you to take to the till inside the barn.

While you browse the shop or enjoy a delicious hot chocolate and sweet treat, your tree will be wrapped and ready for collection.

SHOW YOUR RECEIPT

Show your receipt at the collection point and we can ensure you get the tree you have carefully selected.

Our staff will be happy to assist you with loading your tree into your vehicle.
